Product Overview
A flexible single-sided board is the most basic type of flexible circuit. It consists of a flexible insulating substrate (such as polyimide (PI) or polyester (PET)) with copper foil on one side. The copper foil is chemically etched to form the circuit pattern. The reverse side has no conductive layer and can optionally be covered with a polyimide coverlay for enhanced insulation and protection. Compared to traditional rigid boards, a single sided flex pcb is lighter, thinner, and more bendable, maintaining stable electrical performance in both dynamic and static bending environments.
Materials and Craftsmanship
- Base Material: High heat-resistant PI film, capable of withstanding temperatures above 200 °C, ensuring stable soldering and long-term reliability.
