Japanese Robotic Cleaning Equipment Team Visits STHL for BOM Review and Factory Tour

On August 14, 2026, two visitors from Japan's robotic cleaning equipment sector came to Shenzhen STHL Technology Co., Ltd. (STHL) for an in-person project discussion. The visit began with a review of the available BOM and project information, followed by a walkthrough of the SMT and THT/DIP assembly areas.

Before entering the workshop, STHL's engineering and sourcing teams reviewed the available BOM with the visitors. They also identified the items that still need clarification as the project develops.

From BOM Review to the SMT Floor

After the BOM review, the group moved to STHL's SMT production area, where the visitors examined the production environment and key equipment used in PCB Assembly.

The BOM discussion gave the walkthrough a project-specific reference point, allowing the visitors to compare questions raised in the meeting with the actual SMT production environment.

Questions raised in the meeting continued into the shop-floor discussion.

Continuing Through THT/DIP Assembly

Next, the visitors toured STHL's THT/DIP assembly area and reviewed the working environment and additional assembly operations.

Both sides still need to confirm the BOM, PCB data and build requirements before STHL can define a manufacturing plan. The visitors also saw the THT/DIP assembly area while the remaining project requirements were still being clarified.

During the walkthrough, the visitors saw who reviewed the project files and where assembly may take place. They also left with a clearer view of which details were still open.

What Comes Next

By the end of the visit, both sides had reviewed the same project in the meeting room and on the production floor. STHL's engineering and sourcing teams had also identified the information still needed before defining the next stage.

STHL thanks the two visitors for the time they spent in Shenzhen and for discussing the project directly with its engineering, sourcing, and production teams.

As the project develops, STHL will review the confirmed BOM, PCB data, assembly requirements and other relevant conditions before finalizing a manufacturing plan.

Project teams can start an initial discussion with the project files they already have. Depending on the project, a formal quotation and manufacturing review may require the BOM, Gerber files, assembly drawings, quantity, target lead time and testing requirements.

Teams preparing a PCBA or EMS project can Request a Quote or email info@pcba-china.com to discuss the available files and the next review step.
