On November 4, 2026, Shenzhen STHL Technology Co., Ltd. (STHL) welcomed two visitors from Türkiye to discuss an early-stage healthcare electronics concept. The conversation covered product development, prototype validation, and the possibility of future production.

Engineering Discussions and Production Planning

STHL's hardware and software engineers discussed possible product functions and prototype development with the visitors. The product manager and NPI engineers also considered the target market's requirements and what future PCB assembly might involve, from low-volume builds to larger-scale production.

The project was still at the concept stage, but manufacturing considerations were already part of the conversation.

The engineers then introduced STHL's Engineering Validation Test (EVT) setup and explained the hardware and software debugging and verification work carried out there.

For similar early-stage projects, OEM teams can share preliminary technical requirements at info@pcba-china.com.

Quality Control and SMT Factory Tour

Given the healthcare application, STHL presented its ISO 13485:2016 quality management system certificate, covering PCBA production, and took the visitors through its ISO Class 8 cleanroom. The team also introduced relevant inspection and verification processes.

The factory tour also covered the SMT line, including component placement and the reflow soldering area.

Visitors saw how MES supports material management and how different components are stored with appropriate temperature, humidity, and moisture-control measures. The team also demonstrated moisture-sensitive component baking before SMT assembly when required, along with conformal coating for PCBAs needing additional environmental protection.

OEM teams with defined engineering files and manufacturing requirements can request a quote for further review.

Thank you to our visitors for making the trip to Shenzhen and spending time with our team. We hope to stay in touch as their plans develop.
